Join us on November 21 for an essential conversation with Amanda Berman, Founder and Executive Director of Zioness, as she explores the complex landscape of being a Progressive and Zionist in 2024, just one year after the devastating events of October 7 and in the prospect of possible shifts brought on by a new incoming presidential administration.
Amanda will examine how these events have reshaped the experience of Jews globally, especially for those grappling with questions of identity, safety, and justice as Progressives and Zionists. In the wake of ongoing antisemitism, she will also discuss how liberal values can be a powerful force in fighting for Israel’s right to exist and in advocating for peace and dignity for all in the region.
Attendees will gain insights into what it means to be a Zionist in today’s world, the history of antisemitism, understanding how antisemitism shows up in American society, and discussing the ways progressive ideals and a commitment to Israel can coexist and reinforce one another.
