CONFIRMATION

During 10^th grade, our students enjoy learning with clergy in an intimate setting. The students get to set the curriculum and topics up for discussion often include theology, sexual relationships, drugs, and Jewish history. One of the highlights of the confirmation year is a winter trip to the Religious Action Center’s L’taken Seminar in Washington, DC. The students learn about a variety of issues facing our nation and then lobby our state and local representatives on Capitol Hill. The year concludes with a special Shabbat ceremony honoring our confirmation students and their journey towards Jewish adulthood.
