“Life is a work of art” – The theme of this year’s High Holy Days, Hidur Mitzvah, presents us with an opportunity: don’t just move through the motions of daily life, embrace and enhance them. On Yom Kippur afternoon this year, participate in a group art project meant to stimulate and rejuvenate our bodies and minds. Working both individually and together, using different artistic mediums including collage and coloring, we will elevate the everyday and beautify our participation in Yom Kippur’s rituals. No artistic experience required. Please bring a smock or an older shirt you don’t mind getting dirty.
