Rabbi Dalia Marx, PhD, is a renowned scholar who will be visiting from Jerusalem, and we are honored to learn with her! Rabbi Marx is a tenth-generation Jersualemite, and the Rabbi Aaron D. Panken Professor of Liturgy and Midrash at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. She is the author of the new book From Time to Time: Journeys in the Jewish Calendar. Time is fundamental to the human experience. In Judaism, the sanctification of time is what has kept us together throughout the ages, even though we were (and still are) dispersed in the four corners of the earth.
