FIREWORKS IN THE BRAIN: How Music Affects Mood, Mind and Memory

Featuring Dr. Assal Habibi

Sponsored by ChaiVillageLA – Open to All

Have you ever wondered if music can:

• Make you smarter, more intuitive, even more successful?
• Help your children or grandchildren excel in school?
• Ease pain, depression, or anxiety?
• Slow cognitive decline?

ChaiVillageLA and Temple Isaiah present a truly informative evening with USC’s Dr. Assal Habibi who will discuss how and why music provides a symphony of benefits for all age groups. The discussion will cover how music helps us to express emotions that are hard to verbalize, enables us to retrieve and retain memories more effectively, and enhances cognitive functioning and neural processing.

All Temple Isaiah member are welcome. To register, click here or contact the ChaiVillageLA office at 310.871.2721 or Admin@ChaiVillageLA.org.
