Our Education Philosophy by Preschool Director Dr. Tamar Andrews
"The future of the world is in our hands."
Each and every child has the ability to positively effect change in our world. Temple Isaiah Preschool teachers work in partnership with families to nurture these abilities so that our children can achieve their individual potential, learn to challenge the status quo, and gain an understanding of the impact they have on broader communities and upon the world.
As the first few years of a child's life are the most important for growth and development, and in recognition of how crucial these early years are to later learning and to the very essence of who that child will one day become, the early childhood programs of the Temple Isaiah Preschool integrate the best of early childhood theories, ideas, and practices. We use active learning where the child is the protagonist to promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical, creative and Jewish development. Our families are fortunate to be part of a synagogue community in which they can experience and learn about Jewish rituals, customs, celebrations, and values.
What is Temple Isaiah Preschool? This question is asked many times by curious parents and teachers as they discover that there are a myriad array of preschool curriculums out there. Click here to read more.
