The WKND will take place on May 1-3, 2020
Opening at 3:30 p.m. on Friday and closing circle at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The Weekend will be held at the Brandeis-Bardin campus of the American Jewish University, located in Simi Valley, CA.  This 2,700-acre facility offers our families, two rock-climbing walls, horses and other animals, an alpine tower adventure structure, swimming pool, large grassy areas, sports fields, basketball and tennis courts, campfire pits, beautiful trails, and so much more. You and your family will have everything you could imagine for an exciting weekend.

This is not camping. There are three types of housing available, and honestly, they are all great options. Cost includes all meals, snacks, and activities for The WKND!
You can see photos of each housing option on our Facebook page, just scroll through the posts.

In the first part of your registration, you will tell us your preference for housing (Conference Center, Private- Cabin, Cabin, or Yurt).  Based on the timestamp and availability of each housing option when you submit your registration form online, we will send you a link to pay for that housing option.  You will have 24 hours to pay for your housing, after which, you will lose your spot, and you will be put on The Weekend Waiting List.

While you may get lucky and receive a room upgrade at some point (aka, someone cancels their reservation, and a spot opens up), the likelihood is very slim.  Don’t rely on an upgrade and remember, we don’t spend much time in our rooms.

If you would like to set up a payment plan for The WKND, you must set it up with us by contacting Carla Kopf within 24 hours of receiving your e-mail about housing payment.  Some amount of money will be required as an initial payment within the 24 hours of registration.

Unfortunately, we will not be offering a Day-Only option this year.  We’ve learned that The Weekend is best experienced when your family attends the entire time and so we encourage you to block out Friday afternoon and Sunday morning and just join us for the whole thing!

We understand that things come up.  In order to receive a full refund, you must cancel two months prior to the start of The Weekend, no later than March 3, 2020.  Cancellation after that date will require us to keep 50% of the payment.  Cancellations made within 7 days of The Weekend will receive no refund.  Please remember, we are not making money on this retreat.  We need to make sure we cover expenses, and we want to provide the best experience to the most amount of people.
