Temple Isaiah Young Professionals

TIYP – Temple Isaiah Young Professionals – is a social, spiritual & educational initiative designed for folks in their 20s & 30s to connect with one another, with Temple Isaiah and with congregants of all ages. Temple Isaiah is proud to be a multigenerational synagogue; congregants represent just about every age & life stage imaginable. TIYP celebrates those connections: throughout the year we’ll host events specifically for folks in their 20s & 30s AND we’ll highlight broader multi-age Temple Isaiah events we believe are of interest to this age demographic. All event information will be shared here on this page, so check back often for the most up-to-date details.

Not yet a member of Temple Isaiah, or want to get more involved in TIYP? We look forward to meeting and discussing together what belonging to Temple Isaiah can look like for you. Reach out to Rabbi Jaclyn Cohen or Membership Manager, David Sabel to learn more.

Join the Inaugural Cohort of “From Strength to Strength: A Mental Health Fellowship for Young Adults.”

Presented by Temple Isaiah in partnership with Jewish Federation of LA

From professional and personal stressors to a shifting domestic political arena to Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza and its connection to a disturbing increase in antisemitism worldwide, we know more than ever that young(er) Jews crave not only increased support – especially around their own mental health – but connection and community, as well. Enter “From Strength to Strength,” an experience that addresses the many challenges we collectively and individually encounter, offering critical tools with which to cope with these stressors and a safe space in which to feel truly seen, heard, and valued for who we are. Applications open June 1, 2024. Sessions begin in late August, 2024.
