Capital Campaign
Continuing Our Culture of Community

A once-in-a-generation campaign to strengthen Temple Isaiah spiritually, socially, and physically.

  • The campaign was launched with two objectives: to build a lasting clergy endowment and to renew the Vollmer Deck. At this stage, our greatest need is to raise as much support as possible for the capital improvements to the Vollmer Deck. This space plays an important role in the life of our community, and we want to ensure it remains a vibrant gathering place for many years to come. We invite every member of our community to take part. Please consider making a gift today.

The Continuing Our Culture of Community Campaign is a $7 million investment in Temple Isaiah’s future. It centers on two essential priorities that together sustain the heart of our congregation:

– Ensuring long-term support for our clergy through the Clergy Endowment Fund

  • – Renewing the Vollmer Deck as a safe, accessible, and multi-functional gathering space

Together, these efforts strengthen both the spiritual and physical foundations of our community—today and for generations to come.

Our Campaign Pillars

The Clergy Endowment Fund

This fund ensures long-term support for our beloved clergy, safeguarding their presence for generations so that every lifecycle moment, every Shabbat, and every question or conversation continues to be held with the compassion and excellence they embody.

The Vollmer Deck Renewal

This beloved space, including the garage below it, will be retrofitted, waterproofed, and renewed as the welcoming outdoor space that invites all ages to gather. Planned renovations include: new play structure, lighting and sound for outdoor events, landscaping, ark and acoustic insulation.

Why Our Campaign Pillars Matter

Our clergy and our gathering spaces are the twin pillars that support the heart of Temple Isaiah. Together, they ensure that our community provides the leadership and the environment necessary to foster lifelong connections.

With thoughtful improvements, the Vollmer Deck will continue to support:

Community-wide celebrations & events

Daily learning & play for our youngest members

Safe, welcoming gatherings for all ages

Parking Garage Structural Improvements Play Area/Deck General Conditions Clergy Endowment
$500,000
$900,000
$600,000
$5,000,000

Total: $7,000,000

This campaign has been a passion project close to my heart, and I’ve been deeply moved by the incredible support from our community. Now we invite everyone to join in—come one, come all—as we work together to carry this effort across the finish line.

Our Progress

Every gift matters, and every contribution helps shape our future.

A Shared Vision for the Future

By supporting our clergy and renewing our shared spaces, we are ensuring that Temple Isaiah remains a place of joy, learning, connection, and belonging for generations to come.
