Temple Isaiah boasts three youth groups who gather for fun & social opportunities. Open to all Temple Isaiah students in grades 3 and up, we have age-appropriate activities for social connectivity both inside and outside of the temple walls. We strive to encourage friendship, Jewish identity, and keep our youth connected to the temple, each other, and larger Jewish community through high school and into adulthood.
A board of teens runs ITY (Isaiah Temple Youth, now for grades 8-12) voted in each year by teens at the temple. The ITY board meets twice a month to plan, organize, and run ITY’s monthly events. JITY (Jr. ITY) is our youth program for grades 6-7 and TuFFTY (Third, Fourth, Fifth Temple Youth) for grades 3-5, each with exciting events throughout the year.
Temple Isaiah members and friends from other synagogues are invited to our events and activities. Often, we gather with other youth groups from other Southern California regions. We hope to see you at an event soon!

Youth & Camp Director
Zack Robinson joined Temple Isaiah to run the 6th-8th grade JCIT Program and is continuing as our new Assistant Youth Director, overseeing JITY and TuFFTY. Zack has a long history working with camp & youth - he has helped run nearby Temple Akiba’s day and sleepaway camps over the past 9 years and helped found their now thriving youth group program. Since graduating from Boston University with a BS in Business, Marketing, and Law, he has spent the last few years planning marketing efforts for 20th Century Fox films and FX Networks shows, while also teaching the middle & high school programs at Temple Akiba. He is very excited to bring his unique blend of youth experience and marketing savvy to build new relationships at Temple Isaiah and continue to grow our youth programs.
