Welcome to ITY, our Temple Isaiah high school youth group! We are an active youth group open to student in grades 9th-12th from the Temple Isaiah community. ITY is a subdivision of NFTY, the North American Federation of Temple Youth, which is made up of temple youth groups (TYG's) all over the nation. This Reform Jewish youth movement provides Jewish teens with invaluable lessons in leadership, friendship, social awareness and an opportunity to explore and live Reform Judaism. NFTY SoCal, which is also run by teen leaders, holds weekend retreats, called kallot, for all members in the Southern California region.
Our youth-led board meets twice a month to plan and organize the monthly events. The exciting activities facilitated by this ITY help to nurture a unique Reform Jewish experience for all teens in the community and build connections to each other and their heritage.
