DESCRIPTION:As we continue to grieve the events and aftermath of October 7\, Tisha B’Av—a day of mourning for the destruction of the First and Second Temples and other tragedies throughout Jewish history—holds new and sorrowful resonance for us this year. We will come together in community with Sinai Temple in the evening of August 12 to listen to the verses of Eicha (Lamentations) chanted aloud\, to reflect\, and to pray for the redemption that our tradition believes is possible—no matter how great the devastation.
