Kindergartners and Their Parents “Travel” to Israel
On Sunday April 22, Religious School kindergartners and their families, holding brand new passports and boarding passes “flew” on El Al flight 18 to Israel. Their special tour took them to Jerusalem where they wrote notes and put them up on the Kotel (Western Wall), then they visited the Sea of Galilee, they “swam” in Lake Kinneret where they fished and got to bring a fish home! And, they learned about what an awesome little country Israel is, very diverse with many different places to visit and things to do, and beautiful nature. Our trip ended in song, when the kindergartners serenaded their parents and of course, we all enjoyed a delicious snack of humus, pita bread, oranges and yummy cookies.
