A Rockin’ Retreat for 7th & 8th Graders
For the first time, Temple Isaiah’s 7th and 8th graders will be joining with teens from other synagogues all over the Western United States for West Coast Party Jr., a weekend retreat to experience the excitement of Jewish camping and the enthusiasm of NFTY (that’s the North American Federation of Temple Youth).
This is a weekend you don’t want to miss! More details are below.
Creativity By Candlelight
In honor of Hanukkah, participants in Tiyul: Shabbat B’yachad made their own Israel-themed hanukkiyot (Hanukkah menorahs). Keep reading to learn about the event and see some pictures from that evening.
From the Director’s Desk: Words & Light
In our special family education pilot program, Kulanu, parents are enabled to create Jewish homes that authentically reflect their own Jewish selves and that bring both the words and the light of Judaism to life. (From the December edition of The Isaian.)
Consecration, Dedication
Join us on Friday as we celebrate Consecration, a moving ceremony that honors and sanctifies the beginning of our new students’ Jewish education in religious school.
